The Workshop Service Advisor is a critical role within the 2-wheeler dealership, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the service department. This role involves interacting with customers, understanding their service needs, providing estimates, coordinating with the workshop team, and ensuring timely delivery of serviced vehicles. The Service Advisor serves as the communication bridge between the customer and the service team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient workflow within the workshop.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Interaction**:

- Greet customers as they arrive at the service center.
- Listen to customer concerns and inquiries to understand their service needs.
- Provide expert advice on maintenance, repairs, and service schedules.
- Explain the services required and offer suitable solutions.
- **Service Coordination**:

- Prepare detailed service orders by accurately documenting customer requests and vehicle symptoms.
- Provide cost estimates and timelines for the required services and repairs.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and execution of service tasks.
- Monitor the progress of each job in the workshop, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- **Customer Communication**:

- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the service process.
- Notify customers of any additional repairs or services needed, along with revised cost estimates.
- Obtain customer approvals for additional work.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with the service provided upon vehicle delivery.
- **Workshop Management**:

- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing the service calendar.
- Maintain records of all services and repairs conducted, ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor workshop productivity and recommend improvements.
- **Customer Service & Retention**:

- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote dealership services, maintenance packages, and special offers to customers.
- Encourage repeat business through excellent service and customer relationship management.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all service activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the safety of customers and employees.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of 2-wheeler mechanics and service procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for service documentation and management.
