**Job Summary**:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor located in Bengaluru. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with cost control, BOQ, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. They will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed within budget, and ensure accurate cost forecasting for future work.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Cost Management**: Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports. Ensure costs are controlled and remain within budget.
- **Tendering and Procurement**: Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation. Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors.
- **Contract Administration**: Administer contract terms and conditions, manage variations, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- **Valuations**: Conduct site visits and valuations of completed work, ensuring accurate and timely payments to contractors and subcontractors.
- **Cost Reporting**: Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to clients and the design team. Advise on cost-saving measures and project feasibility.
- **Project Collaboration**: Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. Attend project meetings and provide financial insights and recommendations.
- **Regulations Compliance**: Ensure all projects comply with relevant building regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within an architecture or interior design environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
