**Job opening for Social Worker**

**Location**:Bandra, Mumbai

Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value-based education enabling development of their limitless potential.
It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools - The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West) The Santacruz Municipal School in Santacruz West and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist the Community Work Centre - Head in implementing various activities of the CWC
- Act as a link between community and school through regular home visits and identify drop outs
- Conduct admission process of children and maintain the relevant documents
- Prepare home visit reports, detailed case studies of children, CWC reports and minutes of the meeting
- Organize training programmes for parents on topics related to education, health, and vulnerability.
- Ensure overall attendance of children is increasing in line with the goals set by the organization.
- Actively participate in Parents meeting and provide feedback on the progress of the child to the parent
- Ensure Learning Disability (LD) certificates of all children are collected from the hospital
- Coordinate and network with other civil society groups working in the social sector

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Good command over the English language
- Good computer skills and documentation skills
