**Location**:Bandra, Mumbai

Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value-based education enabling development of their limitless potential.
It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools - The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West), The Pereirawadi Municipal School in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Planning the strategies, activities and programmes with the Heads / Incharges - CWC to strengthen the medical programme.
- Getting the records updated from the concerned social workers.
- Maintaining the records of the students and parents under the medical programme.
- Reporting the progress of the programme and individual cases to the Head weekly basis or on a case-to-case basis depending upon the emergency.
- Helping in better networking with Hospitals and medical institutions and programme planning.
- Conducting Health Camps in Mumbai Schools.
- Visiting Hospitals and coordinating with them towards the benefit of the patients.
- Coordinating the LD Programming and guiding the social workers and counselling team across Mumbai Schools.
- Sharing the monthly, quarterly and yearly report on the progress of the medical programme with the Medical Aid Committee.
- To help the malnourished students with required medical attention in coordination with the Nutrition Consultants.
- To do home visits of the medical cases.
- To complete administrative work and manage accounts on time related to medical expenses.
- To maintain relevant documentations of each case.
- To coordinate with the counselor regarding children’s requirements, regarding LD, and other health related concerns.
- To contribute towards writing of sponsor reports and any other reports that may be required under the medical programme.
- To work closely with the social workers on the malnourished, anaemic students.
- Coordinating with the Special Educators to work closely with the students with different needs like IQ, Speech Therapy, etc.
- To provide informative posters, videos with all preventive measures.

**Learning Disabilities**:

- To organize meeting of the parents of the identified children across Mumbai Schools.
- To ensure parents are sensitized about the LD process and benefits are explained to them.
- To prepare letters for submission at the hospitals.
- To contact parents and inform them about the hospital visit in coordination with the Social Workers.
- To ensure that on the day of the appointment at Hospitals, the parent is present along with the child with the necessary documents. The file containing the documents should be compiled by the Social Workers.
- To complete the OPD enrolment, documentation and medical investigation process.
- To ensure photocopy of all Learning Disability (LD) or any other certificates once issued by the hospital are filed and maintained for record purposes.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 2-3 years of Social work experience
- Good command over the English language
- Good computer skills and documentation skills
