**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Research & Analysis**:

- Conduct research on youth employment trends, skill needs, and community challenges to inform program decisions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce insightful reports, presentations, and advocacy materials.
- Stay updated on policies and social trends impacting Opportunity Youth and identify opportunities for policy engagement.
- Proactively offer innovative ideas and proposed action to GOYN Team on policy and key messages which contribute to the design of the programmatic plan, advocacy and communication strategies and to further improve the effectiveness of the knowledge generation functions of the project.
- Support the implementation of research and training initiatives including developing research
- Tools and documentation, reporting of research findings, conducting research using various
- methodologies, delivering training as needed.
- **Advocacy Strategy & Development**:

- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to address challenges faced by Opportunity Youth.
- Craft policy briefs, case studies, and persuasive materials to support advocacy objectives.
- Partner with internal and external teams to ensure alignment and coordination on advocacy goals.
- Work with the communications team to develop materials for both digital and on-ground advocacy efforts.
- Coordinate public events, workshops, and forums to raise awareness about the foundation’s mission and goals.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build relationships with government bodies, NGOs, corporate partners, and community leaders to foster support for youth initiatives.
- Represent the foundation at events, advocacy forums, and networking meetings to build awareness and collaboration.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to explore areas of collaboration and mutual support.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Track and document research findings, advocacy activities, and progress on policy goals.
- Prepare regular reports on advocacy and research outcomes for internal review and external stakeholders.
- Document success stories, impactful case studies, and lessons learned to inform future strategies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Education**:Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields.
- **Experience**: 5-6 years in research, policy analysis, advocacy, or related roles within the social sector.
- **Skills**:

- Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in data collection and report writing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis and research tools, such as MS Office, SPSS, or similar software.
- **Other Requirements**: Passion for youth development and social impact; willingness to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

**Base Location**:Aundh, Pune - Maharashtra
