**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design sheet metal components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Prepare and modify technical drawings, models, and specifications for sheet metal fabrication.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate project requirements and provide innovative design solutions.
- Analyze existing designs for improvements in manufacturability, cost, and performance.
- Create prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth production processes and address any design-related issues.
- Assist in the selection of materials and finishes for optimal product performance.
- Communicate design concepts and specifications effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of design processes, changes, and production reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Proven experience in sheet metal design, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., HVAC, automotive, aerospace, etc.].
- Proficiency in CAD software, with a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, material properties, and manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
