**SHEET METAL DESIGNER EXPERIENCE IN SOLID WORK**

**BANGALORE LOCATION/MALE CANDIDATES**
- **Technical Knowledge**: Deep understanding of sheet metal materials, their properties, and how they behave under various conditions such as bending, stretching, and forming.
- **CAD Proficiency**: Mastery of computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar, to create precise 2D and 3D designs.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
- **Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)**: Knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure designs meet required tolerances and specifications.
- **Material Selection**: Skill in selecting appropriate sheet metal materials based on project requirements, including factors like strength, corrosion resistance, and cost.
- **Design for Manufacturing (DFM)**: Understanding how manufacturing processes (e.g., laser cutting, stamping, welding) affect design feasibility and cost, and designing accordingly.
- **Prototyping and Testing**: Experience in creating prototypes to validate designs and conducting tests to assess functionality, durability, and performance.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify design issues or constraints and propose innovative solutions to optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance.
- **Knowledge of Joining Techniques**: Familiarity with various techniques for joining sheet metal components, such as welding, riveting, and adhesive bonding.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication with colleagues, clients, and manufacturers to ensure clear understanding of design requirements and to address any concerns or modifications.
- **Attention to Detail**: Precision in measurements and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of sheet metal parts.
- **Continuous Learning**: Keeping up-to-date with advancements in sheet metal fabrication technologies and design trends to enhance skills and stay competitive.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
