The VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining VMC machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering specifications. This role requires a high degree of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Machine Operation**:

- Operate VMC machines to perform milling, drilling, and tapping operations.
- Load raw materials into the machine and secure workpieces.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and precision.
- **Programming**:

- Input and edit machine program settings as required for specific jobs.
- Understand and interpret G-code and M-code programming.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify and troubleshoot defects or production issues.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of VMC machines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate production records, including job sheets and machine logs.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain quality control documentation.
- **Safety**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of [2-3] years of experience operating VMC or CNC machines.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
