**Job Description: Equity Research Analyst**

**Position Title**: Equity Research Analyst
**Reports To**: Research Head
**Department**: Research

**Job Overview**:
The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial data, industry trends, and individual companies to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients. This position involves deep research into company financials, macroeconomic factors, and industry performance to help guide investment decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Conducting Research**:

- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other key performance indicators of companies within assigned sectors.
- Study macroeconomic factors, market trends, and industry data to build comprehensive reports.
- Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess a company’s performance, management quality, and market position.
- **Valuation and Financial Modelling**:

- Build and maintain financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
- Perform valuations and derive target price estimates for equity securities.
- **Creating Reports and Presentations**:

- Develop detailed, insightful research reports with investment recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell).
- Prepare and present research reports to clients and Research head including investment rational, risk assessments, and detailed sector reports.
- **Monitoring Market Activity**:

- Monitor industry news, earnings reports, regulatory updates, and relevant global developments.
- Track and analyze stock price movements, trading volume, and other relevant market data.
- Update and revise investment ratings based on changing market conditions or company fundamentals.
- **Communication and Client Interaction**:

- Regularly communicate with clients or internal teams, explaining research findings and investment recommendations.
- Address client queries and provide expert insights on specific companies, sectors, or economic trends.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Master degree in Finance,, Business, or related field (required).

**Experience**:

- 0-1 years of experience in equity research or financial analysis (for junior positions).
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and their impact on markets.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in Excel, financial modeling, and analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner. Attention to detail and ability to synthesize large volumes of data quickly.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with a passion for financial markets.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
