**Job Title: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Doctor**

**Reports to: Medical Director**

**Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)**

**Location: CURREX HOSPITAL, Seegehalli, K.R Puram**

**Job Summary**:
**The ICU Doctor will provide high-quality medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This includes assessing, diagnosing, and managing complex medical conditions, as well as leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Patient Assessment**:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories.**
**- Interpret lab results, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests.**

**2. Diagnosis and Management**:

- Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.**
**- Manage ventilators, dialysis, and other life-sustaining therapies.**
**- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.**

**3. Team Leadership**:

- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.**
**- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other specialists.**
**- Coordinate patient care with other departments.**

**4. Critical Care**:

- Manage cardiac arrest, sepsis, and other life-threatening conditions.**
**- Perform invasive procedures (e.g., intubation, central lines).**
**- Utilize advanced life support techniques (e.g., ECMO, CRRT).**

**5. Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.**
**- Provide empathetic and culturally sensitive care.**

**6. Quality Improvement**:

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.**
**- Implement evidence-based practices.**

**7. Education and Research**:

- Participate in educational programs for medical students and residents.**
**- Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.**

**Requirements**:
**1. Education**:

- MBBS, BAMS, BHMS in Medicine or related field.**
**- DM/DNB in Critical Care Medicine or equivalent. (Optional)**

**2. Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in ICU settings.**

**3. Certification**:

- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine.**

**4. Skills**:

- Excellent clinical and communication skills.**
**- Ability to work in high-pressure environments.**
**- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.**

**Working Conditions**:
**1. Shifts: Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.**

**2. Work Environment: ICU setting with exposure to infectious diseases.**

**3. Physical Demands: Standing, walking, and lifting patients.**

**Salary and Benefits**:
