**Shift**: Rotational (Morning, Evening & Night Shifts)**Job Purpose**:
To provide continuous medical care, emergency management, and clinical support to in-patients and out-patients in a psychiatric hospital, ensuring patient safety, quality care, and coordination with the consultant psychiatrist and other healthcare teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care & Monitoring**:

- Provide round-the-clock medical coverage and attend to all in-patient and emergency cases.
- Monitor patients’ physical and mental health status, record clinical notes, and escalate to consultants when required.
- Handle psychiatric emergencies (violent behavior, suicidal attempts, acute psychosis, withdrawal symptoms, etc.) promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and IV fluids, and monitor side effects.
- **Emergency & Crisis Management**:

- Attend to medical and psychiatric emergencies during duty hours.
- Initiate first-line management and stabilize the patient before consultant intervention.
- Provide CPR and life-saving interventions in case of medical emergencies.
- **Coordination & Communication**:

- Report patient conditions, daily progress, and any critical incidents to the consultant psychiatrist.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, counselors, and support staff for smooth patient management.
- Communicate with patient relatives regarding updates under the guidance of the consultant.
- **Documentation & Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment charts, and case files.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, medico-legal guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
- Assist in admission, discharge, and referral processes.
- **Rotational & Night Shifts**:

- Work in rotational shifts (Morning, Evening, and Night) as per hospital duty roster.
- Ensure continuity of care during shift handovers.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Any doctor** degree with valid medical registration (mandatory).
- Experience or interest in **Psychiatry** preferred.
- Ability to handle psychiatric and medical emergencies.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
- Willingness to work in **rotational shifts including nights**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
