Overview:
Consilio is looking for an experienced **SQL Server DBA** to join our global database team As an SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. A professional database administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end
- users.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage SQL Server databases.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
- Monitor system's health and performance.
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
- Ensure data integrity of databases.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
- Ticket queue management through ticketing system.
- Provide suggestions for solutions.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

Qualifications:

- Maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) including processes.
- Experience with version control (ie: Github).

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- 4 years' Degree

**Minimum Experience Requirements**:

- ** **3-5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
- 2+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
- 2+ years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models

**Other Requirements**:

- MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
