**Job Title: MS SQL Database Administrator (DBA)**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Perform regular database backups and restoration using SQL Server tools.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups (Always On, Log Shipping, Database Mirroring, etc.).
- Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Conduct performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Monitor and maintain database security by assigning roles and permissions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot database issues including deadlocks, blocking, and slow performance.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on database design, architecture, and best practices.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or SQL Agent jobs.
- Document database processes, structures, and maintenance routines.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in **Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019**.
- Proficiency in **T-SQL**, including stored procedures, indexing strategies, query optimization.
- Experience with **SQL Server Agent, Profiler, Performance Monitor**, and **DMVs**.
- Exposure to **High Availability (HA)** and **Disaster Recovery (DR)** options for SQL Server.
- Good understanding of **data security**, **auditing**, and **compliance requirements**.
- Experience in **monitoring tools** such as SolarWinds, Redgate, or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like **Azure SQL Database** or **AWS RDS** is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹382,564.65 - ₹1,526,526.19 per year
