**Job Summary**:
The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and quality in linen and garment care. They supervise laundry staff, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Laundry Operations Management:
Supervise the washing, drying, ironing, and folding of linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.

Ensure proper handling and sorting of laundry to prevent damage or loss.

Monitor washing formulas and chemical usage for optimal cleaning.

2. Staff Supervision & Training:
Manage and schedule laundry staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Train employees on proper laundry procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.

Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

3. Equipment & Inventory Management:
Inspect and maintain laundry machines, ensuring they function efficiently.

Report and coordinate repairs of defective equipment.

Maintain inventory of detergents, chemicals, and linen stock, placing orders when necessary.

4. Quality Control & Compliance:
Ensure all laundered items meet company standards for cleanliness and presentation.

Implement and enforce hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Adhere to environmental regulations regarding chemical handling and waste disposal.

5. Customer Service & Coordination:
Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to meet linen demands.

Address complaints or issues related to laundry services and resolve them promptly.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
Previous experience in a laundry supervisory role (hotel, hospital, or industrial laundry preferred).

Knowledge of commercial laundry operations, fabrics, and stain removal techniques.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and scheduling.

Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

**Education & Experience**:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Diploma or certification in hospitality, housekeeping, or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a laundry facility, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy laundry loads.

Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
