**Commis 1 (Junior Chef)**

**Position Overview**:
As a Commis 1 at Boojee Café, you will work under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and assist in preparing food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations in a high-paced environment. You will focus on the preparation of specific sections of the kitchen and assist with mise en place, cooking, and plating.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and ensure the quality of food items according to Boojee Café standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and well-maintained.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Prepare ingredients for the next day’s shift.
- Assist senior kitchen staff with tasks as needed.
- Take direction from the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Keep track of food inventory, ensuring all ingredients are used before their expiration date.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary school background preferred.
- Passion for food and keen to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Basic knife skills and kitchen tool knowledge.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
