One of our client which is into Speciality Hospital is looking for:
Ortho Surgeon

Job Location : Mumbai
- Work with the Hospital team to provide IPD and OPD patients with surgical/medical care services within the standard of care.
- Supervise daily clinical activities of Hospital.
- Has overall responsibility for delivery of quality primary and secondary health care.
- Managing all types of Medical Emergencies and handling also Intensive Care Unit.
- Meeting with patients, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, ordering physical therapy, setting fractured bones and performing surgery.
- Ensures that a plan for postoperative care is in place and, when necessary, prescribes physical therapy.
- Conducts and supervises direct patient care, including non-surgical treatment options.
- Examining patients, taking medical histories, addressing patients' concerns, and answering patients' questions.
- Recommending and designing treatment plans.
- Updating patients' charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.
- Keep records of patients’ diseases, operations or other significant information.
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients.
- To take daily ward rounds — Supervision and attend to patient grievances, Inspect drugs for stock positions of medicines and other items as per requirement.
- To supervise the daily clinical management of all patients in conjunction with RMO & the nurse team leaders and attend all post operative patients on day of operation and every day following.
- To supervise round outside regular duties, night rounds during emergency.
- Managing OPD in the morning around from 10:30 am to1:30pm and in the evening around from 5:00pm to 8:30pm. (Depending on the number of patients, time may go back and forth).
- Being available on call whenever required.
- On Sundays OPD will remain close however; you will have to be available for medical emergencies as and when required also active for other hospital task.
- Strictly taking Rounds before commencing Morning OPD and after concluding the evening OPD.
- Conduct medical research on new injuries or diseases, and conducts, supervises, and participates in medical education and training of other medical personnel.
- Referral for diagnostic, therapeutic and support services as required.
- Recommending and, where appropriate, undertaking treatment options and carrying out/referring for appropriate interventions and procedures, including but not limited to prescribing, surgery and other general practice procedures, counseling, psychological interventions, advising and education.
- Prescribes course of treatment for patients with injuries, disorders, or malformations and performs required surgery.
- Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all National and state health information privacy laws.
- Record complete, timely and legible medical records.
- Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
- To respond to queries relating to patient care from RMO’s.
- Conducting weekly meetings with RMOs and Head Nurses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical team.
- To assist in the day to day functions at the hospital and any other reasonable tasks, within their level of experience, requested by the hospital.
- Complying with medical laws.
- Regular communication with department heads and staff.
- To assist management. in expansion plan, development scheme.
- Adhere to Hospital policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, and infection control standards.
- Compulsory contribution in Community camp organizing activities & active support in hospital branding & developing various health checkup plans.
- Coordinating with the Director on timely basis and taking care of the duties and responsibilities given by him.
