Orthopaedic Surgeon
to join our team at a

leading healthcare facility, Kapadia Multispeciality Hospital, in Goregaon, Mumbai. The ideal

candidate will support a senior orthopaedic surgeon in delivering high-quality care. This role involves

assisting in diagnostic procedures, surgeries and patient follow-ups, ensuring a smooth and efficient

workflow. The facility operates daily with a flexible schedule covering all days of the week to meet

patient needs. Fluency in both English and Hindi is essential to communicate effectively with our

diverse patient community.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist senior orthopaedic surgeon during patient examinations, surgeries and procedures


• Conduct initial patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and performing

basic physical exams


• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, monitoring patient recovery and documenting

progress


• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans


• Maintain accurate patient records and update case files in compliance with hospital protocols


• Participate in outpatient clinics and ward rounds, assisting senior surgeons with patient

consultations and follow-up care


• Ensure a clean and sterile surgical environment, adhering to infection control standards


• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, rehabilitation exercises and recovery

expectations

Qualifications


• Educational Qualification:
MBBS with D.Orthopedics or MS.Orthopedics


• Experience:
0–2 years of experience in orthopaedic practice (fresh graduates are welcome to

apply)


• Registration:
Registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council


• Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English and Hindi (both written and spoken)

Required Skills


• Strong clinical knowledge of orthopaedic conditions, including fracture management and

joint disorders
• Proficiency in basic orthopaedic surgical techniques and patient care procedures


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and the

medical team


• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of senior surgeons and within a

multidisciplinary team


• High level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail in patient care


• Organizational skills to manage patient scheduling, records, and follow-up appointments


• Computer literacy for maintaining electronic health records and scheduling systems
