**Job Title**: Merchandiser - Men’s Apparel

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Reports To**: Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Merchandiser will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing merchandising strategies for men's apparel. The role involves product selection, vendor coordination, price negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:Product Development & Sourcing**
- Develop and manage seasonal collections in alignment with market trends and brand positioning.
- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to develop new styles and collections.

**Order Management & Production Coordination**
- Manage the end-to-end order process from sampling to bulk production.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and factories to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Monitor fabric, trims, and garment approvals as per buyer requirements.

**Pricing & Costing**
- Negotiate pricing with vendors to maintain cost margins.
- Prepare and analyze cost sheets to optimize profitability.
- Monitor material usage and wastage to control costs.

**Quality Assurance & Compliance**
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and sustainability requirements in manufacturing.

**Inventory & Logistics Management**
- Monitor stock levels and manage replenishments efficiently.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain teams for smooth product movement.

**Market Research & Trend Analysis**
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product development and sales improvement.

**Reporting & Coordination**
- Maintain order status reports, T&A (Time & Action) plans, and WIP (Work in Progress) reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to ensure product success.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in men’s apparel.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
- Expertise in vendor management, costing, and production planning.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising software (ERP, PLM).
- Understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
- **Other**: Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
