Job Summary:
As a Retail Sales Officer at Tanishq Jewelry, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers by providing detailed product knowledge, assisting in product selection, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role will also involve driving sales targets, maintaining the store’s visual standards, and handling customer inquiries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Customer Service**: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Provide detailed information about the jewelry, including materials, designs, and benefits.
- **Sales Target Achievement**: Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets. Actively upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales.
- **Product Knowledge**: Maintain deep knowledge of Tanishq products, including the latest collections, trends, and promotions. Ensure that all customers receive accurate information about the products.
- **Visual Merchandising**: Assist in maintaining the store’s visual standards and displays, ensuring that the jewelry is displayed attractively and effectively.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers through excellent post-sale service, follow-ups, and personalized communication.
- **Transaction Handling**: Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system. Handle returns, exchanges, and repairs as per company policy.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring proper storage, and participating in stock-taking and replenishment processes.
- **Compliance and Security**: Adhere to all store policies, including security protocols, cash handling, and loss prevention measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

- **Experience**: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry or luxury items.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (and regional languages if applicable).
- **Customer Service**: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- **Sales Skills**: Ability to work in a target-driven environment and meet sales goals.
- **Product Knowledge**: Passion for jewelry and a strong understanding of various product lines.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to maintain a high standard of store presentation and product display.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in sales or retail management is a plus.
