**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Programming**:

- Write and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) based on technical drawings and CAD models.
- Ensure programs are efficient and meet quality standards.
- Make adjustments to programs as necessary to optimize machining processes.
- **Setup and Operation**:

- Set up CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) including loading materials, installing tools, and fixtures.
- Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and tapping.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to exact specifications and quality standards.
- Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometres, callipers) to verify conformance with specifications.
- Identify and address any deviations from quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programming, setup, or machine operation to minimize downtime.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of programs, setup sheets, and tooling information.
- Provide regular updates and reports on job progress, including any challenges encountered and solutions implemented.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Programmer with a strong background in CNC machining operations.
- Proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and materials.
- Solid understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment preferred.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation.
