Responsible for performing the technical analysis of infrastructure events as they occur across the enterprise systems and ability to resolve them.
- Liaise with various technical team’s, vendors, and 3rd party service providers to resolve complex issues.
- Strong knowledge on Network operations environment, systems, protocols, and services.
- Develop key dashboards for service availability, uptime and utilization metrics and play the role for SME for monitoring requirements for both Infra and Application.
- Participate in major incident management; incident resolution; command and coordination during major service interruptions; provide diagnostic information from the monitoring tool.
- Assess gaps in current monitoring configuration or setup and recommend changes augment or fix them.
- Ensure that up-to-date inventory and technical documentation exists for all services monitored and take ownership for reporting key monitoring stats.
**Required Skills**:
- Prior experience working in a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center, including at least 2 or more years as Senior Engineer for NOC or Application Monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Cloud (AWS/Azure), Data Center technologies, Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Networking technologies, Applications, Databases, Operating system, etc.
- Some hands-on experience managing and maintaining monitoring tools like LogicMonitor, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds or Splunk.
- Good understanding of Active Directory, Win Server, IIS, SQL, and Web services in a high availability environment, Patch Management, Virtualisation and Server level troubleshooting etc.
- Microsoft/Cisco/Juniper certifications preferred.
- Strong working knowledge on ITSM tools like ServiceNow, SMAX etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with others constructively.
