**Role**:
**The Creative Services Officer** at Kodaikanal International School (KIS) is responsible for managing all creative output from concept to production for brochures, advertisements, website, videos, promotions and other mediums for KIS. This position is responsible for developing strong creative designs and coordinating with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure a proper creative vision for the School.

**Qualifications & Experiences**:
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/Master degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, Journalism or a related field
- Previous experience in a Marketing Department preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience

**Preferred Hard Skills and Competencies**:

- Market knowledge and in-depth understanding of the best practices of the field of Design, Creation, Distribution and Storage of Digital Assets

**Preferred Soft Skills and Dispositions**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Tamil
- Exceptional desktop publishing software skills (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience with video editing software
- Understanding of the printing process and specifications
- Familiarity with production and rendering methods, including drawing, offset printing, photography and interactive media
- Strong photography and editing skills
- Research Skills, Rigour, resilience, persistence and a keen eye for detail
- The ability to make decisions, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Force, Canva, Adobe and other relevant software tools
- A deep understanding of digital and social media, and how they can be leveraged to achieve objectives.
- Creative and imaginative with a strong Customer Service attitude
- Strong problem-solving ability with excellent organization skills
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers, visitors and vendors
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to relate well and effectively in a diverse workplace and with a diverse client population
- The ability to travel extensively, and at short notice, within India

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the creation of arts, photo, videos, and layout designs
- Understand the marketing and branding strategy of the school and generate designs that will reinforce our positioning in the marketplace
- Determine strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience
- Incorporate research into creative process by becoming an expert in industry norms and trends in order to produce the most effective and persuasive work possible
