The **Front Office** is the face of the hotel and serves as the primary point of contact for all guest interactions. Located in the hotel lobby, it plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests from check-in to check-out.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism
- Efficiently handling check-in and check-out procedures
- Managing guest reservations and room assignments
- Providing information about the hotel, services, and local attractions
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Managing billing, payments, and daily reports
**Core Qualities of Front Office Staff**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Well-groomed and presentable at all times
- Knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and booking software
- A customer-first attitude with attention to detail
