**Responsibilities**:
**_ Typical Day in the Life :_**
- Prepares fixed asset studies for our clients, which is a tax-related advisory service.
- Works with business owners, building managers, architects, engineers, constructions professionals and accountants to gather necessary information.
- Utilizes our process and building cost analysis to determine the most favorable depreciation tax outcome for clients.
- Performs detailed cost analysis of the building components including quantity take-offs.
- Coordinates various activities to meet client needs within a specified time frame.
- Understands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary.
- Maintains awareness of general depreciation trends and changes and applies that knowledge to client issues and solutions.
- Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
- Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Qualifications:
**_ Who You Are?_**
- Knowledge of contractor costs, building plans and generally how a building is put together is required.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and understand AIA construction statements.
- Familiarity with construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to take on any project.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or Associate’s Degree with equivalent related work experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in cost segregation, construction industry or cost estimating required.
- Previous experience with On-Center, Revit or cost segregation software preferred.
