**Job Summary**
- establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices
- monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
- identify and source new suppliers and vendors
- develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- develop, **negotiate **and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements
- work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements
- facilitate timely placement of purchase orders
- produce regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance
- oversee the operations and daily activities of the purchasing department
- performance manage, develop and motivate purchasing staff
- direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Job Responsibilities**:

- keeping a constant check on stock levels;
- Coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;
- Purchasing the materials
- Collecting quotations from the suppliers / vendors
- Generating purchase orders in the software after taking approval from Commercial Head
- Negotiating prices and commercial terms of supplies
- Handling and managing vendors
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received
- Preparing the GRN note for the goods that have passes the QC analysis and transferring the goods to the RM/PG stores
- Arrange dispatches of rejected goods back to the vendors with closing of all related documents
- Etc.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Good Negotiation Skill, Good communication Skill
- Qualification : Graduates (With Science field i.e. Chemistry, biology)
- Experience : 5 -8 Yrs with Pharma,food and water industry
- Salary : 10K to 20K PM
- No. of opening : 1

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thane, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
