**Job Title: Solar Technician**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems including panels, inverters, mounting structures, and wiring.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, and installation manuals.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and electricians.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and service reports.
- Educate customers on system operation and basic maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- ITI/Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in solar installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with solar tools, testing instruments, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Basic understanding of DC/AC electrical systems and battery-inverter integration.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with hybrid/off-grid systems and solar inverters (e.g., UTL, SMA, Growatt, etc.).
- Knowledge of net metering, DG synchronization, and LT panel connections.
- Certifications (e.g., MNRE, NISE, or other solar-related training) are a plus.
