**Job Title: Solar Technician**

**Location: Mumbai, India**

As a Solar Technician based in Mumbai, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
**Installation**:

- Installing solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components of solar energy systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Ensuring proper placement of solar panels to maximize energy efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

**Maintenance**:

- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment.
- Performing repairs or replacements of faulty components as necessary.

**Electrical Work**:

- Wiring solar panels, inverters, and batteries to electrical systems in buildings.
- Connecting solar energy systems to the electrical grid and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

**Documentation**:

- Maintaining accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Completing paperwork for permits, inspections, and warranties.

**Customer Interaction**:

- Communicating with clients to explain the operation, maintenance, and benefits of solar energy systems.
- Addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while working on rooftops or in other elevated locations.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Solar Technician or in a related field (solar installation, electrical work, etc.) preferred.
- Knowledge of solar energy principles, equipment, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
- Certification or training in solar energy installation or electrical work is a plus.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training or certification in solar energy, electrical work, or a related field preferred.

**Salary**:
The salary for a Solar Technician in Mumbai can vary depending on experience, qualifications, and the employing company. However, typically, it ranges from INR 8,000 to INR 25,000 per month, with the possibility of bonuses or incentives based on performance.
