**Job Title: Hospital Counselor**

**Salary Range**: 18,000 to 35,000 [currency]

**Age Range**: 22 to 35 years

**Experience**: 1-2 years in counseling

**Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Consultation**:

- Provide detailed information about hospital services and treatment options to patients and their families.
- Assess patient needs and concerns to offer appropriate guidance and support.
- Follow up with patients to ensure their satisfaction and address any ongoing needs.
- **Patient Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families.
- Address patient inquiries and complaints, providing solutions to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate communication and understanding.
- **Support Services Coordination**:

- Coordinate with different hospital departments to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Help patients navigate the hospital system, including scheduling appointments, understanding treatment plans, and accessing support services.
- **Counseling and Emotional Support**:

- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during treatment.
- Help patients cope with their medical conditions and the associated stress.
- Refer patients to additional psychological support services if needed.
- **Health Education**:

- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Conduct informational sessions and workshops on various health topics.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Prepare and present reports on patient interactions and satisfaction levels to hospital management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures related to patient care.
- **Compliance and Ethical Standards**:

- Ensure all counseling activities comply with hospital policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in counseling, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- **Skills**:

- Strong counseling and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in using hospital management software and CRM systems.
- Fluent in Hindi and English.
- **Attributes**:

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emotionally challenging situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
