** Position Overview**:

- **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Architecture Design**: Create a robust data architecture that meets the scalability, security, and performance requirements of the DWP Data Platform.
- **Data Management**: Design data models and data flows to effectively store and process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- **Technology Implementation**: Utilize Azure technologies to develop and implement the DWP Data Platform, ensuring adherence to best practices in data design.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure that the platform supports all DWP services effectively.
- **Leadership**: Lead the development team in implementing the data architecture, providing guidance on data design principles and practices.
- **Analytics Enablement**: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support the integration of AI and analytics capabilities into the DWP services.
- **Documentation**: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, data models, and design decisions to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.

** Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, preferably in a large-scale data environment.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance principles.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks and tools for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.-
