**Job Description**:
1. Manages project planning while developing integrated project Schedule and establishing a basic framework for planning, scheduling, and progress control.
2. Collect all inputs related to project plan preparation (time per activity, inter linkage, sequencing) by areas from respective managers on Project Task Force and prepare the detailed baseline Schedule in line with project scope requirement.
3. Establish overall basis for project progress measurement defining E, P & C weightages. Prepares S Curve at Project & Function levels - Engineering, procurement & construction. Periodic updating of schedule & S curves and subsequent generation of progress variance reports.
4. Identify & monitor critical path & critical tasks in the overall schedule on a regular basis. Analyse & present impact of various scenarios on overall project schedule & critical path during the project review meetings. Prepare catch up plans, look ahead plans based on inputs from respective sources including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions. Aggregate progress reports on a weekly & monthly basis by.
5. Prepares microplans for critical work packages & Major milestones.
6. Develops MIS reports as per project requirement
- Daily progress reports, weekly progress reports, monthly progress reports, Exception reports, Delay analysis reports basis interaction with Project team members and Contractors, recording progress % of each task.
7. Arranges Periodic progress review meeting with all stakeholders
- Customer, departments & Vendors / Contractors. Conduct interface meetings among all stockholders for work prioritization & front input issues. Prepares review meeting agenda, presentations & record notes of various meetings.
8. Knowledge of scheduling software
- Primavera & MS projects, Quantity Estimation based on drawings & documents.
9. Study contract documents & identify contractual conditions to avail concessional or Nil Import Duty benefit available for the Project imports.
10. Well versed with the DGFT Policy, Customs Manual and EXIM related various orders issued from time to time, essential for Smooth Imports.
11. Co-ordination with Client for issuance of Essentiality Certificate, execution of High Sea Sales.
12. Co-ordination with Vendors for accurate & timely availability of import documentation.
