**Job Summary**:
The Transport Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a company's transport and logistics functions. This role includes coordinating transport schedules, managing fleet maintenance, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. The administrator acts as a liaison between drivers, customers, and the company, ensuring deliveries are timely, cost-effective, and meet service quality expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transport Coordination:_
- Plan and schedule transport operations to ensure timely delivery and collection of goods.
- Allocate vehicles and drivers based on operational needs and availability.
- Monitor vehicle routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Administrative Duties:_
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including driver logs, fuel usage, and trip details.
- Process invoices, delivery notes, and other transport documentation.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures related to transport activities.
- Fleet Management:_
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing schedule for all vehicles in the fleet.
- Ensure vehicles are insured, taxed, and compliant with local and national regulations.
- Manage vehicle breakdowns, replacements, and repairs efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance:_
- Ensure adherence to transport and safety regulations, including driver working hours and vehicle load limits.
- Maintain records for audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
- Implement and oversee health and safety practices for transport operations.
- Customer and Stakeholder Interaction:_
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules and queries.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to address transport-related issues.
- Handle complaints and resolve disputes related to transport services.
- Technology Utilization:_
- Use fleet management software and GPS systems for route optimization and performance tracking.
- Generate transport reports and analytics to support decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in transport coordination or fleet management (1-2 years preferred).
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- A valid driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
