As an **Academic Counselor**, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between parents, students, and the school, ensuring academic excellence and holistic development.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Admissions and Parent Communication**:

- Convert prospective parents into admissions by effectively explaining the school’s vision, curriculum, and unique offerings.
- Respond to inquiries regarding admissions and academic programs, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Guide parents through the admission process, addressing queries and concerns promptly.

**Academic Support**:

- Develop a strong understanding of the school’s curriculum, including Birla’s Integrated Curriculum, and communicate it effectively to parents and students.
- Counsel students and parents on academic progress, helping them set and achieve educational goals.

**Reporting and Data Management**:

- Generate and maintain accurate records and reports as required by the management.
- Use tools like Excel and school management software (e.g., MyClassboard) to track and analyze student performance and admissions data.
- Provide detailed updates to management on academic counseling activities and admission progress.

**Teacher and Parent Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between parents and teachers, facilitating effective communication about student progress.
- Ensure that feedback from parents is documented and conveyed to the appropriate departments for action.

**Event Participation and Organization**:

- Assist in planning and organizing parent orientation sessions, open houses, and academic workshops.
- Represent the school during external events and fairs to promote admissions and build relationships.

**Technology and Social Media Management**:

- Manage social media platforms to promote the school’s achievements, events, and programs.
- Create engaging content and handle inquiries received through digital platforms.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Certification in counseling or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years in academic counseling, customer relations, or similar roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with school management tools like MyClassboard.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities effectively.
- Social media management skills, including content creation and engagement.
- Friendly, empathetic personality with a solution-oriented mindset.

**Salary Range**: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month
