**Job Description**:
The IT Head is responsible for overseeing the information technology operations of the campus, ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology to support the institution's educational goals.
This role includes managing the computing infrastructure, supporting the IT needs of various departments, maintaining network infrastructure, and leading the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ICTS department.
Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of hardware and software systems.
Ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices for cybersecurity.
Lead and manage the ICTS team, including training, and performance evaluation.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide technical support for faculty, staff, and students.
Ensure the availability and reliability of computer labs and departmental IT resources.
Maintain and update the campus network infrastructure.
Develop and manage the ICTS department budget.
Oversee the procurement of IT equipment and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
Enforce IT policies and procedures.
Work closely with academic departments to understand and support their specific IT needs.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
