**Job Summary**:
**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching & Instruction**:

- Teach English language, literature, and communication skills courses as per the curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and innovative methodologies to engage students.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Assess, grade, and provide constructive feedback on student performance.
- **Research & Academic Development**:

- Engage in scholarly research and publish papers in reputed journals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in English literature, linguistics, and pedagogy.
- **Student Mentoring & Guidance**:

- Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and research work.
- Provide career counseling and mentoring support.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, seminars, and literary activities.
- **Curriculum & Departmental Contribution**:

- Contribute to curriculum design and revision based on academic requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and academic committees.
- Organize and support cultural, literary, and co-curricular activities.
- **Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities**:

- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional development processes.
- Maintain academic records and adhere to institutional policies.
- Participate in faculty development programs and continuous professional learning.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in English (Literature/Linguistics/Language Studies) from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. in English (preferred or as per UGC/AICTE/State Govt. norms).
- NET/SET qualification (as per UGC guidelines).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to teaching, research, and student development.
