**Post - Assistant Professor in English**

**Qualification: First Class Master’s degree in English. Minimum 2 to 4 Years of teaching experience at college level.**

Teach courses commensurate to established syllabi.

Prepare and maintain current course syllabi, course outlines and classroom expectations for each course taught.

Focus on all skill areas (reading, writing, speaking, listening) as well grammar and vocabulary, so students develop across the board.

Examine and recommend adequate instructional materials for courses taught.

Organise classroom lectures and coursework.

Assign homework and interesting exercises to students.

Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans.

Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behavior.

Research new language teaching methods.

Participate in course schedules development and coordination.

Update and maintain accurate student attendance and academic records.

Inform parents about their children’s performance.

Involve in assigned college committees and professional development activities.
