**Job Title**: Lecturer in English AHS/PMS & Nursing

**Qualification**: Masters degree with minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience.

**Responsibilities**

**Teaching**: Assistant Professors of English are responsible for teaching undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in English language and literature. They prepare syllabi, develop course materials, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, conduct seminars, and evaluate students' performance through assignments, exams, and other assessment methods.

**Research and Scholarship**: Assistant Professors are expected to engage in active research and contribute to the field of English language and literature. They conduct original research, publish scholarly articles, present at conferences, and contribute to the academic discourse within their area of expertise. Building a strong research portfolio is essential for career advancement.

**Curriculum Development**:Assistant Professors may play a role in designing and updating the curriculum for English programs. They contribute to the development of new courses, revise existing courses, select textbooks and readings, and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and technologies into the curriculum.

**Advising and Mentoring**:Assistant Professors provide academic guidance and mentoring to undergraduate and graduate students. They assist students in course selection, academic planning, research projects, and career development. They may supervise graduate students' theses or dissertations and provide mentorship in their research endeavors.

**Publishing and Presenting**: Assistant Professors are expected to actively publish their research in reputable academic journals and present their work at conferences or seminars. Building a strong publication record and establishing a presence in the academic community is essential for professional growth and advancement.

**Professional Development**: Assistant Professors engage in continuous professional development to enhance their teaching effectiveness and research expertise.
