**Job Overview**: (Product - CommVault and Veeam) **Key Responsibilities**: **Backup Management**: Implement, configure, and manage backup solutions using Commvault and Veeam for both on-premises and cloud environments. **Monitoring & Reporting**: Perform regular monitoring of backup jobs, analyze logs, and generate reports to ensure successful backups and identify issues. **Troubleshooting**: Address and resolve backup-related issues, including recovery failures, data corruption, and performance degradation. **Disaster Recovery**: Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring that backup strategies align with business continuity objectives. **Data Restoration**: Ensure efficient and effective data recovery processes for files, databases, and virtual machines. **Optimization**: Continuously optimize backup processes to improve efficiency and reduce recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO). **Documentation**: Maintain detailed documentation for backup configurations, procedures, and recovery workflows. **Collaboration**: Work closely with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT staff to ensure that backup solutions are integrated effectively with existing infrastructure. **Skills & Qualifications**: **Experience**: Minimum of 1+years of hands-on experience in managing Commvault and Veeam backup solutions. **Technical Expertise**: Strong experience in backup administration for Commvault and Veeam in enterprise environments. Knowledge of backup and restore operations for both physical and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V). Proficient in managing backup policies, schedules, retention, and reporting. Familiarity with cloud-based backup solutions (AWS, Azure). Understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and integration with backup tools. **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve backup failures, data recovery issues, and performance bottlenecks. **Tools**: Familiar with backup monitoring tools and techniques for performance optimization. **Certifications (preferred)**: Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or Commvault Certified Professional (CCP). **Soft Skills**: Strong communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
