Vmware L2 Support Chennai/Indore/Pune/Vadodara Web Application Development 7-9 Years Role: Vmware L2 Support Location: Chennai/Indore/Pune/Vadodara Experience: 7-9 Years Key Skills: Software Technical Support, VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter Server What will your role look like Provide 24×7 support for VMware-based infrastructure, ensuring mínimal downtime and quick resolution of any technical issues. Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, and related technologies, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting. Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve any concerns related to VMware infrastructure. Utilize ticketing systems to track incidents, problems, and change requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of virtualized environments. Develop, automate, and maintain scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Conduct performance monitoring and optimization of VMware environments to ensure consistent reliability and scalability. Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity. Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the services offered to clients. Good communication, should be able to directly communicate with clients Knowledge of ticketing systems. Strong understanding and knowledge of infrastructure products (Physical & virtual servers) Strong understanding and knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi Good Understanding on Linux/Windows. Must be proficient in at least one. Good knowledge on automation/scripting Must have certification on Install Configure and Manage vSphere 7.0. Must have professional level certification from VMware either on Network Virtualization, VSAN,End User computing ,Data Center Virtualization etc. Should have worked on VMware ESXi, vCenter vSphere Suite Management, Patching and Troubleshooting. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
