**Job Purpose**:
The MEP Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities in a construction project. This includes ensuring that MEP systems are installed, commissioned, and maintained according to specifications, schedules, and standards. The role requires close collaboration with design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of MEP services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Coordination**:

- Coordinate and oversee all MEP-related activities across the project to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to timelines.
- Liaise between project management, contractors, and the design team to ensure effective integration of MEP systems into the overall project.
- Ensure that all MEP drawings, specifications, and documentation are up-to-date and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
- **Design and Technical Support**:

- Review MEP drawings and designs for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify design discrepancies and work with engineers and consultants to resolve issues before installation.
- Provide technical support for resolving MEP-related issues during construction.
- **Procurement & Materials Management**:

- Ensure timely procurement of MEP materials and equipment required for the project.
- Maintain a clear record of all MEP materials ordered, received, and used on-site.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for product specifications and delivery schedules.
- **Scheduling and Monitoring**:

- Develop and maintain MEP work schedules in coordination with the overall project timeline.
- Monitor the progress of MEP installations to ensure completion as per the schedule and identify any potential delays.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all MEP installations meet the required quality standards, specifications, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to detect any deficiencies or safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- **Collaboration & Teamwork**:

- Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any MEP-related issues promptly.
- Assist in coordinating the efforts of MEP subcontractors to maintain the project schedule.
- Foster a collaborative working environment between MEP trades and other disciplines on-site.
- **Commissioning and Handover**:

- Ensure the proper commissioning of all MEP systems and systems are fully operational.
- Coordinate the testing and commissioning of all MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
- Assist with the preparation of handover documents, operation and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of MEP works, including site reports, inspection reports, and change orders.
- Provide detailed daily and weekly progress reports to the project manager.
- Ensure that all required documentation is available for project audits and final handover.

Pay: From ₹15,266.26 per month
