**The Impact You’ll Make**

At Lam, as an Electrical Designer you are responsible for creating of cable design and documentation by using Zuken-E3 for our Etch products.

**What You’ll Do**
- Creating and maintaining medium complex interconnect and its cable assembly drawings of Lam Products
- Propose OEM components and materials for cable design.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and exhibit high quality in engineering documentation and expected to highlight low-high complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project/task execution.
- Advice/Consult supplier during product development phase to translate detailed engineering requirements into specifications, collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams for problem solving and design verification/validation.
- Accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of Key Performance indicators (KPIs), as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience in cable or cable harness design in Semiconductor Equipment or other Capital equipment industry

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Must have worked on electrical engineering CAD tools like E3 Zuken, Ideas or PCAD (3D Cable Harness)
- Developed Cable Harness, Schematics and Interconnect using E3 Zuken/Ideas/PCAD
- Knowledge on selection of OEM Components and cable accessories.
- Detailed understanding of relevant design standards and compliance like UL 508, IEC Standard, SEMI standard (Electrical), IPC 620 etc.
- Knowledge on design for manufacturability in cable design
