Job Responsibilities
- responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned room.
- Cleaning of a given number of rooms according to brand standards ensuring a defect free room.
- Assist in “Single Point Entry” concept.
- Follow-up on any assignments by his supervisor.
- Should be helpful and courteous to guests at all times.
- Follow periodical cleaning schedules
- Responsible for equipping all rooms with linen, amenities in the guest rooms.
- Ensure trolley is clean, tidy and well equipped with supplies, linen and room amenities are always kept in its proper position.
- Maintain hygiene standards by using proper cleaning products.
- Ensure that the floor pantries and corridors and fire exits are maintenance free.
- Report maintenance problems in the room to the supervisor.
- Report any loss or damage to the floor supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Assistant Housekeeper/ Housekeeping Supervisor.
- During afternoon Shift he or she is responsible for turn down service and late check-out.
- Ensure to be familiar with the hotel lay out, fire exits and elevator locations.
Report any equipment malfunction, emergency situations or suspicious persons to the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Provides helpful, friendly, prompt and personalized service to the customer (internal/ external).
- Takes complete responsibility for hygiene, maintenance and cleanliness of area under his/ her control, to meet hotel standards.
- Responsible for keys under his/ her control to ensure safety and security of guest’s and hotel’s property.
- Provides effective amenity services in guest rooms/ Health Club rooms.
- Responsible for maintaining all equipment, carpets & fixtures of the area under his/ her control.
- Assists in effective handling of uniforms and linens.
- Attends and learns through behavioral and vocational training in own and related work areas to enhance skills and develop multifunctionality.
- Attends training on fire safety & security systems.
- Shares skills with all departmental employees specially through O.T.J. training for new comers.
- Maintains excellent professionalism amongst all staff, helps and guides them to enhance their performance.
- Coordinates with all related departments to provide prompt, courteous & efficient service to the customer (internal/ external).
- Builds and maintains friendly and personal relationship with guests.
- Adhere to all the Leisure Brand Standards - General Standards of Behaviour.
