**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Administration**:

- Manage and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security and integrity of all systems.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- **Smart Board Management**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Smart Boards and related software across classrooms.
- Provide technical support for Smart Board issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Train and assist teachers and staff in the effective use of Smart Board technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Smart Board technology and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
- **Technical Support**:

- Offer timely and efficient technical support to staff and students for all IT-related issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates for all school IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with school policies.
- **Network and Security**:

- Oversee network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and performance.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect school data and resources.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- **Project Management**:

- Plan and execute IT projects, including the implementation of new technologies and upgrades to existing systems.
- Collaborate with school leadership to identify technology needs and develop strategic plans for IT improvements.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and IT activities for review by school management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a system administrator, preferably in an educational environment.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining smart board technology.
- Strong knowledge of network and system administration, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and security.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and support non-technical users in using technology effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) is a plus.
