As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
2. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
3. Provide safety training to employees and promote a safety-conscious culture within the organization.
4. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
5. Investigate and report on workplace incidents, accidents, or near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and promote continuous improvement.
7. Monitor and maintain records of safety-related activities, including training and inspections.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or chemicals.
Knowledge of Environmental Treatment Plants (ETP) and experience in handling MEE plants.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to conduct effective training sessions for employees at all levels.
