**Job Description**:
1. Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
2. Conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and providing training to employees, all while adhering to relevant regulations.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program specific to the furniture industry, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and standards.
5. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and potential risks.
6. Identify potential hazards in the workplace, including those related to machinery, materials, and processes.
7. Conduct risk assessments to determine the likelihood and severity of potential hazards.
8. Develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.
9. Provide safety training to employees on various topics, including hazard recognition, safe work practices, and emergency procedures.
10. Ensure that employees are aware of their responsibilities and duties related to Safety.
11. Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective action, Report safety incidents to management and relevant authorities as required.
12. Ensure that all safety equipment is in good working order and readily available.
13. Monitor the condition of the workplace and ensure that it is maintained in a safe and orderly manner
14. Collaborate with management through safety meetings and other departments to promote a positive safety culture.
15. Lead, develop, motivate and mentor the team to achieve the desired result.
16. Knowledge of ISO Quality, Environment and OHS audits.
17. Must have worked with 5S.
18. Must be proficient in MS Excel
Location: Palghar
Residence in Vasai-Virar/ to Boisar. preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
