Safety Officer-Chemical Co

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Daily inspection of all safety equipments, Site inspection & House keeping Supervision.

2. Role of supervision in accident prevention.

3. First aid and Emergency Procedures.

4. Maintain tidiness and good housekeeping to prevent hazards at worksite.

5. Ensuring PPE for fire fighting and upkeep of fire protection system fire, fire extinguishers and accessories.

Role Category : Safety/Health/Environment

Job Profile :Ensure safe working condition in the workplace and report unsafe conditions to the concerned authority.

Ensure readiness of fire fighting systems by periodic checking and testing the same on weekly basis.

Monitor the usages of personal protective equipment by the employees in the premises.

Monitor the first aid box in the premises for proper availability of medicines.

Conduct periodic mock-drills, prepare reports and implement action points

Prepare and maintain documents as well as records.

Monitor the monthly reports for air ambient, stack, noise, treated water etc for the parameters set in the MPCB consent.

Investigate incidents and Dangerous Occurrence (DO) and implement corrective and preventive measures and maintain records.

File returns of Hazardous waste (Form 4) & Environment Statement(Form 5)

Monitor the compliance for the tankers such as fitness certificate, insurance, license & prepare non compliance report & send to concern department

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Fixed shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dhansar, Palghar, Palghar - 401404, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- in chemical Plant: 4 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English, Hindi (preferred)

License/Certification:

- OSH (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
