Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our culinary team. The DCDP will work closely with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. This role requires a strong understanding of Chinese cuisine, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- **Station Management**: Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and delivered on time.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation, adhering to the restaurant's guidelines.
- **Hygiene and Safety**: Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory, including the ordering, receiving, and storage of ingredients.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- **Training and Development**: Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.

Qualifications:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on Chinese cuisine.
- **Education**: Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.
- **Skills**: Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on Chinese cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Knowledge**: Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- **Personal Attributes**: Passionate about food, creative, detail-oriented, and a team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
