**Job Title**: Horticulturist
**Experience Required**: Minimum 5 Years (Preferably in the Construction/Infrastructure Industry)
**Location**: Bangalore
**Reporting To**: Project Manager / Landscape Architect / Site In-Charge

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and execute landscape development and maintenance activities across construction sites.
- Coordinate with architects, landscape designers, and civil teams to ensure proper integration of green spaces within project layouts.
- Conduct site assessments to determine soil conditions, irrigation requirements, and suitable plant species.
- Supervise planting operations, including the selection and procurement of plants, trees, and horticultural materials.
- Monitor health and growth of plants; implement pest control, fertilization, pruning, and other maintenance practices.
- Prepare work schedules, assign tasks to landscape workers, and ensure timely completion of horticultural activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations at site.
- Maintain documentation of horticulture activities including plant inventory, progress reports, and site observations.
- Provide guidance and training to gardening staff and laborers.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of plant species, soil science, pest control, and irrigation systems.
- Experience in handling landscape development in large-scale infrastructure.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings and plans.
- Good leadership and team coordination skills.
- Proficiency in using tools and techniques related to modern horticulture.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and site reporting tools.

**Educational Qualification**:

- Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
