**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled **Accounting Associate (Pricing Assistant) **to join our team who will have the opportunity to champion our Global Finance Transformation by providing quality analysis from our new Center of Excellence (COE).

This role you will primarily provide revenue support work for onshore partners within Caterpillar’s Resource Industries (RI) segment. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional who wants a fulfilling opportunity.

The preference for this role is to be based out of **Bangalore, Whitefield office**

**What you will do**

Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
**Pricing Assistant**:

- Daily analysis of Machine Shipping Orders (MSO) to determine prioritization
- Data collection and validation to ensure completion of invoicing
- Reconciling Machine Shipping Orders (MSO) to quotes, including communicating to Mining representatives to ensure accuracy

**Process Transition & Improvement**:

- Transition projects based on timelines, business requirements, and defined metrics/KPIs
- Create, define, and own process documentation and tracking
- Partner with multiple global stakeholders daily
- Identify and leverage tools and technologies to transform processes
- Drive continuous improvement via Simplification, Standardization and Automation (SSA)

**What You Will Have**:

- **Data Gathering & Analysis**:Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment
- **Accuracy and Attention to Detail**:Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
- **Customer Focus**:Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions
- **Education / Certification**: CA/CPA/CMA or CPP (Certified Pricing Professional) or MBA Finance with 0-2 years of experience desired
- **Analytical Thinking**:Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
- **Accounting, Financial Analysis & Reporting**:Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
