Apprentice - Commercial

**About the Role**:

**Position Overview**:
As an Apprentice at S&P Global Commodity Insights, you will play a role in supporting strategic business opportunities and our mission to empower companies with benchmarks, perspectives and solutions for commodity and energy markets. You’ll work closely with our commercial managers, marketing, and strategy teams to identify growth opportunities, engage potential clients, and optimize business development initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct market research to identify and analyze new opportunities, target industries, and customer segments.
Track emerging trends and competitive landscapes, providing insights that inform Commodity Insight’s business development strategies.
Identify and qualify potential clients or segments that could benefit from Commodity Insight’s services.
Assist the commercial team in creating and refining pitch decks and marketing materials that effectively communicate our value.
Nurture leads by answering queries, setting up introductory calls, and assisting in follow-up communications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support New Business strategy and related project initiation.
Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and client experience.
Compile reports on key metrics, including conversion rates, engagement levels, and areas for improvement, supporting data-driven decision-making.
