**Regional Operating Officer**

The regional Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital including admissions, grooming, boarding, and front desk operations. Through delegation

to League employees, the Regional Operating Officer is responsible for carrying out the operating procedures necessary to implement the policies established by the upper leadership. In addition this position is responsible for carrying out the directives by upper leadership. This person must have strong leadership, communication, customer, and time management skills that promote a positive, professional, and team
- oriented work environment. This position is based in Hyderabad India.

**The Regional Operating Officer (ROO) supervises the following positions**:
Grooming

Boarding

Hospital Staff

Animal Care and Facilities

Front Desk Staff

VPG

This includes training, feedback, and timely performance reviews. The roo ensures that all major purchases in these departments are in accordance with budget guidelines and works with

Head vet and President/CEO in preparation of annual budget/audit.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plans, organizes, and oversees hospital, grooming, boarding, VPG, and front

desk operations to ensure they meet the principles and objectives of the organization.
- Tasked with the continual progressive development of innovative programs to further the

Hospital, VPG progress and reach in order to save more lives and engage communities.
- Involved in marketing SOPH and VPG, with the marketing group.
- Overlook websites to make sure information is accurate and up to date.
- Overlook google business account make sure hours are correct.
- Respond to google reviews and any other platforms reviews are present.
- Create promotional ideas for the hospital
- Keep on top of social media content for the hospital and VPG.
- Involved in all marketing aspects for the company.
- Keep up to date with surrounding local competitors and how we can be better
- Head the weekly leadership meetings.
- Follow through on staff training
- Presentations for the company as needed for representation
- Follow through partners interested in working with VPG
- Make sure daily cash deposits are done and accurate.
- Make sure rescues are paying on timely basis.
- Full flow of the whole hospital, grooming, and boarding.
- Assures the proper implementation and administration of all policies, procedures, and programs and coordinates this through the other members of the Senior Management Team.
- Administers the Vet Buddy database. This includes adding new users, merging duplicates, updating/changing fields, creating new reports as needed.
- Oversees the creation and maintenance of Standards of Operation for hospital in full activities. Ensures that appropriate staff training opportunities are available including both in-house.
- Conducts a monthly meeting of all staff to address any issues that have come up and

to train on any new procedures. Responsible for overseeing the Front Desk Manager and ensuring high quality of excellence in front desk operations.
- Participate in local, regional and national organizations or committees relating to animal

welfare. Present at community meetings as appropriate. Represent the hospital and VPG at the occasional public function.
- Addresses any complaints made by the public regarding hospital, grooming, or boarding, front desk operations.
- Serves as the manager on call (seven days, 24 hours/day) on a rotating schedule with Head Vet.
- Serves in place of the President/CEO when required and undertakes all his/her duties when he/she is absent. Takes on special projects as assigned by the Head Vet and President/CEO.
